Background Information: TGAA Spoilers at the Wiki
Kazuma arrived at Forgotten Tales still suffering from amnesia and received the essence of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The Hyde is essentially a physical manifestation of his "inner demon". Within him, he takes advantage of Kazuma's lack of memory and self, and gains power, eventually becoming it's own individual. Even after Kazuma regains his memories, he continues to combat with Hyde, believing he can control him, but it was short lived. Eventually, he fails to withhold Hyde during a story based around his essence, leading to the harm and destruction of others and the death of several people. Devastated at his failures to prevent a tragedy, even if it were just "part of the story", he closes himself from others, accepting the horror that lives inside him is his true nature. For his remaining duration at FT, Hyde kept control until eventually he was sent to Songerein. His appearance is relatively the same, though he let his hair grow out and now has a ponytail.
Personality: Kazuma is a man who is focused, confident and steadfast. He is someone you feel you can really depend on, to come help you out of a jam. He has a strong sense of justice and duty, but also can be a bit of a perfectionist, competitive, and a hot head when riled. The mere failure of doing tongue twisters is enough to devastate Kazuma to his knees. It was also the start of a friendship with Naruhodo, who so effortlessly spoke in tongue twisters that his frustration basically will their friendship into existence.
He can throw out compliments when it's earned, but he can also be curt when he loses his patience. He has casually threaten to drag Naruhodo down the street with a dog collar, declare he was dead to him along with a number of other harsh words when you present the wrong evidence. He's not one for small talks either, never mincing his words and always cutting right to the point. If there's a topic he does not wish to fully reveal, he will speak around it, but will never flat out lie. There's a sense that despite his calm and control demeanor, his true self is just barely breaking the surface. The man always seems to be on guard, a silent but deadly nature that he isn't everything that you see.
Kazuma has shown his willingness to dirty his hands to achieve a goal. He has been in pursuit for one thing since he was a teenager, uncover the truth of what happened to his father. This one goal has shaped him into the man he is today, his fixation to study law, so he can go to Great Britain no matter what. He is willing to do anything and everything possible to achieve this goal, even willing to use and betray others. There was a catch to the exchange program, and he willingly accepts the assassination plot, forced onto the exchange program in order to go to Great Britain. Though he had no intention of following through with the plot, he brought Naruhodo along as a failsafe in case he did find himself in the dock. Why he doesn't ask for real help is the stubbornness and lack of trust Kazuma has of others. He truly believes that in order to achieve his goal, he has to do it himself.
Hyde was a physical manifestation of his "inner demon", the blind rage, hate and desire for revenge that clouds his ability to see the truth. He struggled with this demon back home, when he wanted to kill Gregson after discovering he had forged evidence to declare his father guilty. It was a crisis he just barely prevented, ending with the tip of his katana, Karuma being chipped off. He may have accepted the assassination exchange, but he never planned to take anyone's life. Unfortunately, at one point he loses control over Hyde and that led to the death of several people. It weighs heavily on his mind, knowing that bloodthirsty side of him is something he must live with, that he can't turn a blind eye to anymore. Arriving to Songerein, he will seem distant, never truly opening himself up to anyone. Hyde may be just a memory now, but how could he allow himself to trust others when he couldn't even stop himself?
Abilities & Inventory:
Canon:
-Swordsmanship skill
-Law knowledge
-His katana Karuma
-Make poisons and medicine (CRAU from FT)
Dreamotion (He does not all of these abilities at the start. They are just ideas of what he can develop):
-A mesh of FT abilities, gaining Hyde's enhanced strength, hearing, eyesight in the dark, and healing factor.
-Some abilities related to his sword skills. Maybe he learns a means to cut someone down using his words.
-He probably be attune to the element of fire.
-Can turn into a cat or snake. (His animal mascot being a cat, and his prosecutor outfit taking concepts from snakes)
Suitability & Plans: Recover from the disaster Hyde left behind. Learn to be able to trust others and himself again. The man is capable of handling himself, but he really needs to learn to make friends and keep em. He may open up another bar here, some residual from the better side of Hyde seeping in.
