[Let's...head to the couch first, so back to the sitting room to put him down there.]

It was dark. [Half right. He rubs his temple, looking around.] Did you move my things...?

Yeah, I moved them to your room. Sure you don't need to see another doctor?

No. [He glances over to Shizuo.] I know someone who still does though.

[hatesviolence]

[Just a look.] I'm not the one falling over, passing out, and sleeping for hours on end.

[chippedsoul]

[. . . ] At least I'm not walking around with an unattended injury.

[A gurgling sound comes from his stomach] . . .I could go for some food, if anything.

It's been tended to. [Mostly. Have a grumpy scoff.]

You wait here and I'll make you something. Want a sandwich, soup, or something else?

Sandwich is fine. [. . .] You sure you don't need help in the kitchen?

If it's just a sandwich, should be fine.

["Should be." It's just putting stuff between two slices of bread, who hard can it be?]

[Yeeea, he's getting back up.] I'll come join you in the kitchen.

[hatesviolence]

You sure you should be moving around? I can handle it. Unless you want something specific or something...

[Maybe he's picky?]

I'll sit down in the kitchen. [If he really doesn't need the extra hand, then he'll be "resting", right?]

I'll eat just about anything right now.

All right... [Still a little skeptical, but he'll let it go for now.

Upon entering the kitchen, Shizuo will pull out the bread, packet of freshly sliced meat, cheeses, and other things to add like lettuce, tomato, etc. He does have to cut it, though, so he'll work on that.]

I have other stuff, too, if you want.

[As he said, he'll sit down at the kitchen table.] What else do you have?

[He's not planning to go through his entire food stock, but it's information to know.]

Uhh, eggs, fruits, probably can make a salad or something with the different lettuce and vegetables.

Just...the sandwich for now. [If he still wants something more, he'll probably take a look himself later on. He leans back in his seat, observing Shizuo's back.]

Did you ever tell me what you did back home?

[hatesviolence]

Hm... [He pauses as he tries to remember, but he really isn't one to care about details like that.] Not sure. Why, you wanna know?

I just...get the impression you worked in something related to public service.

[hatesviolence]

[...Haaaah. There's a rueful smile at that as he resumes making the sandwiches.]

Nah, nothing like that. I help a friend collect debts from people who haven't paid the company. Mostly act as a bodyguard and make 'em pay if they keep trying to dodge out of it.

[chippedsoul]

Ah, a bodyguard. That would makes sense. [. . .] Did you need to assist your friend often? [Is this a debt collector or a "debt collector"?]

Yeah. [A small look of annoyance.] It would be easy if they just paid up like they're supposed to, but they always make up bullshit excuses and try to run off. Some even try to get physical, so that's when I step in.

Were his rates difficult to pay off?

[hatesviolence]

No, it's a decent rate. They just squabble their money or can barely afford it to begin with.

[A small click of his tongue and a very loud THUNK of the knife as it cuts through a block of cheese.]
